On 4/1 an officer responded to the Isle Casino (401 Main Street). It was reported that a kidnapping/assault had occurred. Case is open at this time and under investigation.

On 4/1 at approximately 1948 hours, Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of found drug paraphernalia. A potential suspect has been identified and Officers took possession of the paraphernalia.

On 4/1 at approximately 0900 hours, an officer was notified of a suspicious incident that occurred at the Saratoga Casino (101 Main St.) on 3/31/2016 at approximately 1243 hours. A female patron was approached by a male while she was drawing cash out of the ATM. The male took note of her transaction and then left. The male was identified and a report was taken.

On 4/2 at approximately 2017 hours. Officers were dispatched to 401 Main Street (Isle Capri Casino) level 4 of the parking garage on a reported hit and run accident. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 4/2 at approximately 2212 hours, officers responded to the Monarch Casino located at 444 Main St. Black Hawk, CO 80422 on a report of an intoxicated female who was refusing to leave the premises.

On 4/3 at approximately 0338 hours, an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino (111 Richman Street) on the report of a female who sustained a head wound from a possible assault. An investigation was completed and it was determined that the female fell, due to intoxication. A report was completed.

On 4/3 at approximately 1030 hours, Officers responded to the Lady Luck casino parking garage on a report of a stolen license.

On 4/3 at approximately 1942 hours, Officers responded to the Isle Casino (401 Main St.) on a report of a hit and run. The suspect fled the scene and was not identified. A report has been completed.

On 4/3 at approximately 0508 hours, Officers responded to the Saratoga Valet (101 Main St.) for a report of a male party who was unconscious, unknown if breathing. The male party later died.

On 4/5 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino. It had been reported that two male parties were using drugs in a vehicle, which was parked inside the parking garage. Upon further investigation, both parties were arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 4/4 at approximately 0030 hours Officer Fiocca conducted a welfare check with two male parties in the Ameristar parking garage on level 6 (111 Richman Street). It was discovered that one of the men had a felony warrant and was in possession of a controlled substance. He was placed into custody and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.

On 4/4 an officer was dispatched to the 100 Block of Richman Street, on the report of a traffic accident involving a fire hydrant. A suspect was later identified and will be charged. The case is still being investigated.

On 4/4 at approximately 2242, Officer Watson responded to a report of an accident resulting in property damage on level 3 of the Monarch parking garage. Upon arrival, it was determined that one of the drivers had fled the scene. The driver was located and taken into custody.

On 4/5 at approximately 0411 hours, Officer Watson responded to 111 Richman St. on a report of a physical disturbance between a man and a woman. The female party was arrested for Domestic Violence.

On 4/7 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a criminal trespass to motor vehicle. There is suspect information and the investigation continues.

On 4/7 at approximately 1810 hours, Officers responded to 340 Main Street (Lady Luck) garage 4th floor on a reported missing vehicle. A report was taken regarding the incident.

On 4/7 an officer responded to 261 Church Street for a disturbance in progress. Upon completing the investigation, officers arrested a female party for harassment and domestic violence.

On 4/8 at approximately 0117 hours, an officer responded to the Monarch Casino (444 Main St.) on the report of a domestic violence in progress. An arrest was made and a report taken.

On 4/8 at approximately 0216 hours, an officer responded to the Ameristar Hotel on the report of a fake ID. Upon arrival, Officer Baca took possession of the fraudulent driver license and of a credit card the suspect used. A suspect has not been identified.

On 4/8 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino (111 Richman Street) for counterfeit currency. The scene was investigated.

On 4/8 an officer took a phone report regarding a theft. The theft had occurred at the Z Casino on 04-06-2015. There is suspect information.

On 4/8 an officer responded to the KMM parking garage located at 255 Main St. on the report of a stolen vehicle. Upon investigation, the vehicle was found where the reporting party had parked the vehicle.

On 4/9 an officer responded to level 5 of the Ameristar parking garage located at 111 Richman ST. due to the report of a domestic disturbance inside of a vehicle. An arrest was made and a report was taken.

On 4/9 an officer responded to a theft at the Golden Gates Casino (261 Main Street). Upon investigation completion, the suspect was identified and the property was returned to the owner.

On 4/9 at approximately 1137 hours, Officer B. Davis responded to the Mardi Gras Casino on a report of a party who left their purse in the bathroom and it was subsequently stolen.

On 4/9 at approximately 2031 hours, Officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Parking Garage on the report of an intoxicated party. The party entered a vehicle and drove off prior to Officers arriving. The party was stopped and arrested for DUI.

On 4/9an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino (111 Richman Street), for found counterfeit bills. The suspect was identified and evidence was collected.

On 4/10 at approximately 2050 hours, officers were dispatched to the Isle of Capri (401 Main St) on a report of a female party who was attempting to climb a wall. Dispatch advised the responding officers that they didn’t know if she was suicidal or not, and that security was moving her to guest safety. The party was transported to the hospital by Gilpin Ambulance for a mental health evaluation.

On 04/10 at approximately 1929, officers were dispatched to the Canyon Casino (131 Main St.) for trespassing by a female party. The suspect has been identified, the case is under further investigation.

On 4/14 an officer responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a disturbance involving a patron and an employee of the casino. A summons was issued.

On 4/11 at approximately 0005 hours, a female party came into the Police Department to advise that someone had struck her vehicle while it was parked inside of the Ameristar Parking garage. After investigation, it was discovered that the damage consistent with what was reported was done prior to 4/4/16.

On 4/11 officers responded to an Isle Casino hotel room on the report of a physical disturbance in progress.

On 4/11 at approximately 1232 hours, Officers responded to 401 Main street on a call of a theft. Officers were unable to identify the suspect.

On 4/11 at approximately 2029, Officers were dispatched to Lady Luck Casino (340 Main St.) for a $10 counterfeit bill.

On 4/12 at approximately 1733, Officers received a phone report regarding theft from a vehicle.

On 4/12 at approximately 2240 hours, an officer stopped a vehicle for traveling in the wrong lane of traffic in the 100 block of Main St. The driver was arrested as a Habitual Traffic Offender and a passenger was arrested for an active warrant. Both parties were booked into the Gilpin County Jail.

On 4/13 at approximately 0816 hours, Officer responded to the Ameristar Casino, 111 Richman Street on a call of a male party urinating in the parking garage. The suspect was issued a municipal summons for urinating in public and arrested on a warrant.

On 4/14 at approximately 0115 hours, a male party came into the Police Department to turn himself in on a warrant. The male was arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 4/14 members of SSU and the patrol division conducted a high risk arrest warrant at 333 Main Street. All parties were arrested without incident. After the arrest, officers recovered a gun, a stolen car, narcotics, and auto theft tools.

On 4/15 at approximately 1625 hours, Officers responded to 111 Richman Street (Ameristar Casino) on a report of a counterfeit one-hundred-dollar bill. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 4/15 at approximately 2037 hours, Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a party urinating on the smoking patio. The party was taken into custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail for Public Indecency and Violation of a Protection Order.

On 4/16 at 0212 hours, Officer Hansen observed the driver of a silver Nissan Altima lose control of his vehicle and collide with the guard rail. There were no injuries and no damage to property other than the Altima. A report was taken.

On 4/16 at approximately 1504 hours, Officers were dispatched to the Canyon Casino on the report of found drugs.

On 4/17 an officer responded to the Ameristar parking garage (111 Richman Street), for an intoxicated party. Suspect was located and found to have an active protection order. Suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 4/19 at approximately 0017 hours, Officer Hodge observed a white Honda Accord that had stopped in the intersection of Main St. and Miners St. The driver was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.

On 4/19 an officer took a report from a party who walked into the police department to report his wallet stolen. Case is under further investigation.

On 4/19 at approximately 1721, officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino (240 Main st.) on the report of found drugs. A female suspect was identified, placed into custody and booked into Gilpin County Jail.

On 4/20 officers responded to the Ameristar parking garage for a report regarding public urination which had allegedly taken place in the parking garage. Two male parties were contacted. One party was wanted on an out of state warrant and was arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 4/21 at approximately 1948 hours, Officers responded to 111 Richman Street (Ameristar Casino) level 6 of the parking garage on a hit and run accident. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 4/21 an officer ran a license plate number while on routine patrol in the Canyon parking lot. The plate listed back to a different vehicle then it was displayed on. Officer Hansen noticed the vehicle being driven later on that night and conducted a traffic stop. A summons was issued and report taken.

On 4/22 at approximately 0013 hours, Officers responded to 111 Richman Street (Ameristar Casino) room #2313 on a reported larceny. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 4/22 at approximately 1744 hours, Officers responded to 255 Main Street (KMM Parking Garage), level 6, on a reported burglary to a vehicle. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 04/22 at approximately 2005 hours, Officer’s responded to the Monarch Casino due to the report that a wallet had been stolen. An accomplice of the suspect has been identified.

On 4/23 at approximately 1200 hours, Officer Watson was dispatched to the Wild Card Casino on a report of a counterfeit $50 bill. The bill was seized and entered into evidence.

On 4/23 at approximately 1230 hours, a party turned in a found wallet at the Police Department. The owner was contacted and advised that she could pick it up at the PD.

On 4/23 an officer responded to the Lodge Casino valet (240 Main Street) on the report of an accident involving a driver who was suspected of being intoxicated. A crash report was taken and an arrest made.

On 4/24 at approximately 1348, an officer was dispatched to the police department due to a phone report of criminal mischief. After further investigation, no suspect information was attainable.

On 4/24 at approximately 2350 hours, an officer responded to the Ameristar on a report of a stolen cellphone. The officer discovered that there was also an ID card and bank debit card inside the cellphone case. Video surveillance will take some time to review. No immediate suspects were identified.

On 4/28 at approximately 1904 hours, Officers responded to 101 Main Street (Saratoga Casino) on a reported theft of a wallet. An employee was contacted regarding the theft. An employee was cited and released. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 4/29 an officer was dispatched to the Isle Casino, for a possible hit and run report. Upon investigation completion, the reporting party was found to have an active warrant and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 4/25 at approximately 0140 hours, a party called into the police department to advise that his truck had been broken into in at the Isle (401 Main St. ) and had several items stolen. The case remains under investigation.

On 4/26 at approximately 1605, an officer was dispatched to the Monarch Casino parking garage (444 main st.) on the report of a hit and run. After further investigation, it was discovered that there was a note left on the victim’s windshield from the other party.

On 4/26 at approximately 2034 hours, Officer Watson was dispatched to the Ameristar (111 Richman St) parking garage on a report of a male involved in a verbal disturbance who had just urinated in the garage.

On 4/27 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino as it was reported that a person allegedly wanted by Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department was present . The party was arrested and taken to the Gilpin county Jail.

On 4/27 at approximately 2228 hours, Officer Watson was dispatched to the Lodge Casino (240 Main St) on a report of a possible counterfeit one-hundred-dollar bill. Suspect was contacted and arrested for an outstanding warrant. The counterfeit bill was seized and booked into evidence.

On 4/28 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino (111 Richman Street), for a stolen wallet. The suspect fled the scene and the case is still under investigation.

On 4/28 at approximately 2024 hours, Officers responded to the Ameristar Hotel due to the report of property theft from a hotel room. The potential suspect has been identified.

On 4/28 an officer was dispatched to the Lady Luck parking garage (333 Main Street), for a domestic assault. Upon completion of the investigation, a male party was arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 4/28 at approximately 1904 hours, Officers took a phone report regarding a hit and run accident that had allegedly occurred at 111 Richman Street (Ameristar Casino) level 4 of the parking garage. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 4/29 Officer Metcalfe responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a criminal trespass to motor vehicle. There is suspect information and the investigation is ongoing.

On 4/30 an officer responded to the Lady Luck Casino on the report of a stolen cell phone. The cell phone was not recovered. There is suspect information.

On 4/30 approximately 1039 hours, an officer was dispatached on an area check of the Lady Luck Parking Garage when he found a motorcycle with a stolen license plate and an altered vin number. The motorcycle was impounded.

On 4/30 at approximately 1732 hours, an officer took a phone report of fishing gear being stolen from a vehicle in the Isle Casino’s garage. No suspects have been identified.
