Happy Holidays Peak to Peak readers,

You have no doubt heard the saying "the squeaky wheel gets the grease," I guess that's me. The response from the community in the days before Thanksgiving was amazing. Thank you.

With the quick turnaround between holidays, this is a gentle reminder that the Gilpin County Food Pantry could use a little help from the community to help make every one's holiday special. Your generosity helps to put smiles on a neighbor's face.

All donations are greatly appreciated.

Items the pantry could use for a special holiday are turkey breast, whole chickens, butter, pickles, green olives, salad dressing and jelly. Also personal care items i.e. toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, shaving cream, and toilet paper are needed.

Donations are accepted at the Gilpin County Food Pantry at 101 Norton Drive, Black Hawk, until December 19, for the special holiday season.

Donations can be left between the doors, if no one is at the pantry. Someone will check for donations over the weekend.

It is hard to express how all of the community support is appreciated. Thanks in advance for taking time to consider making a donation.

Once again, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU

Peace and Good Health to all in the coming year.

Dedicated volunteer,

Roxy Goss
