The Winter Solstice on the 21st of December leads us into one of the four great turning points of the year. The 21st is a day of light and enlightenment. The solstice, with its sunset flowing through Stonehenge, marks the return of light to the northern hemisphere, with each day becoming longer, celebrated by the major religions of the world.

The Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn also occurs on the solstice. Every twenty years these two large planets merge to welcome a new cycle of social interactions. This joining occurs in humanitarian Aquarius with an emphasis on innovation and diversity and multi-dimensional enlightenment.

Aries- Winters enters powerfully this year, with the start of the new twenty year cycle of Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius, the sign that allows you to envision the future that you want, and then empowers you to create it. Capricorn is a strong career sign for you over the month ahead.

Taurus- Capricorn and the Winter Solstice have big career plans for you in the month and the year ahead. While most of the planets were reversing in 2020, they move ahead in 2021. The action planet Mars moves into Taurus in January, starting your year ahead with strength.

Gemini- The dashing and elegant sign of Capricorn invigorates you on the Winter Solstice, allowing you to decide what is really important for you, not just in the month ahead, but in the year ahead. Jupiter and Saturn combine in the innovative air sign you admire, Aquarius.

Cancer- You are the sign of the Summer Solstice and wildflowers and your opposite sign of partnership, Capricorn, who brings snow and introspection, is now in the center of the stars. You find yourself active, attractive and in demand over the course of the pleasant month ahead.

Virgo- Capricorn, another diligent earth sign like you, is hosting the Winter Solstice, with amped up energy because of the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn, who set the intellectual tone for your career efforts and contacts with the world around you. This is the time to chart your year ahead.

Libra- The Winter Solstice beckons to you, with light and candles and celebration. The big planets Jupiter and Saturn move from placing growth provoking obstacles in your way over the past few years to becoming your allies as you joyously move forward into the new year ahead.

Scorpio- The solstice is ushered into the world by diligent Capricorn, one of your astrological allies. With Scorpionic true grit and the mountain goat’s sense of savvy, expect to find that the month and year ahead produces the results that you have been looking for in your life.

Capricorn- Congratulations arrive for you – happy birthday, joyous Winter Solstice, innovative Great Conjunction wishes, and the news of your celestial guide who is Saturn changing signs, after over two years of negotiating your Saturn return. Now at last you can celebrate!
