Pastor Nate Roschen, from Wisconsin, has been preaching at Whispering Pines Evangelical Free Church for a year and a half. After 11 years of serving in pastoral ministry in their Midwestern home, Pastor Nate and his wife, Shantelle, found a home in the mountains at Whispering Pines Church in 2021.

Pastor Nate has a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry from Crown College and earned his Master of Divinity from Denver Seminary. His favorite holiday to preach is Christmas.

The church values heartfelt prayer, Bible-centered teaching, genuine praise and worship and believes in transforming fellowship and loving and serving others with grace.

This church puts its mission, to bring people closer to God one disciple at a time, into practice. They hold youth programs on the first and third Sunday of every month at 6 p.m. They serve their community through the Pastor’s Pantry food shelf, which is open on Thursdays 3 - 5 p.m.

Worship is Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Small group studies meet at various times during the week, including adult Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. Whispering Pines offers “Power Zone,” an elementary school-aged program during the Worship service.

Special services are also held on Good Friday, April 7, at 7 p.m. Immediately following Worship on Easter Sunday, the church will host an Easter egg hunt.

Whispering Pines Church is located at 73 Gross Dam Road. You can find them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/whisperingpineschurch/ or you can give them a call at 303-642-3201.
