Holiday Closures

We will be closed on Monday, December 25 and Monday, December 1 for County holidays.

Youth Chess Club

Wednesdays through December 20, 4:30 - 5:45 p.m. Ages 8-17. Drop-in fees apply. Requires basic knowledge of chess.

Drop-In Volleyball

Thursdays through December 28. Ages 14+. Drop-in fees apply.

Winter Break Youth Camp

December 21 through January 5, Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. No camp on December 25 - 26, and January 1. Resident $40/day, Non-Resident $48/day.

Youth Basketball Camp

Friday January 5 and Saturday January 6, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Ages 5-13. $40/ child. Learn basic basketball skills and how to play the game!

Zoombonis Ice Skating Camp

Session 1 January 12 - 26, Fridays 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m., $60 total. Session 2 February 2 - 23, Fridays 8:30 a.m. -1 p.m., $80 total. Ages 8 - 12. Learn to skate with Gilpin Parks and Rec and Ned Rink!

Youth Basketball League

Ages 5 - 14. Resident $60, Non-Resident $72. six-week session. Practice starts January 15. Games start January 20.

Outdoor gear can be rented Mondays and Fridays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Prices vary for gear rentals. For more information please visit https://www.alwayschooseadventures.org/gearlibrary.

Friends of the Gilpin County Community Center’s “Heart of the Community” Fund supports residents in need with family punch cards for daily admissions, as well as scholarships for youth who need help to cover youth sports and classes. Youth Camp (Licensed Child Care): Monday - Thursday 4 - 6 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Eagles Teen Program: Monday - Thursday, 4:15 - 7:15 p.m.

Pilates Mat Class: Saturday, 9:15-10:15 a.m.

Hatha Yoga: Monday and Friday, 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Senior Fit: Monday and Friday, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Taekwondo: Monday and Wednesday, 6 - 7:30 p.m.

Pickleball: (Monday/Wednesday/Friday and Saturday: first 30 minutes is for instruction/practice - no games at this time)

Monday/Wednesday/Thursday: 8:30 - 11:30 a.m.

Friday: 1- 4 p.m.

Saturday: 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. (family time, all ages can play)

Aquafit: Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Family Gym Time: Thursday, 12:30 - 3 p.m.

Gilpin Stitchers Club: 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Master Swim: Monday and Wednesday 6 - 7:30 p.m.
