Parents’ Night Out Friday, December 15, 4:30 - 8 p.m. For children ages 5-12 years. $25 per child or $15 if they’re already enrolled in Friday camp on December 15. We’re excited to invite you to our first Parents’ Night Out event. Leave the kids with us for a fun-filled evening while you enjoy a well-deserved break. The kids will get to enjoy dinner provided by us, followed by watching a movie in the pool!

Dive-In Movie Night Friday, December 15. Starts at 6 p.m. Paddle around and watch a recent blockbuster! Call 303-582-1453 for the movie title and more information.

Pickleball Tournament Saturday, December 16. Starts at 9 a.m. $40/team. Accepting men’s, women’s, and mixed double pairs. All proceeds go to our Youth Sports Program.

Drop-In Volleyball Thursdays through December 28, 6 - 7 p.m. Ages 14+. Drop-in fees apply.

Youth Chess Club Wednesdays through December 20, 4:30 -5:45 p.m. Ages 8-17. Drop-in fees apply. Requires basic knowledge of chess.

Winter Break Youth Camp December 21 through January 5, Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. No camp on December 25, December 26, and January 1. Resident $40/day, Non-Resident $48/day. Youth Basketball Camp Friday and Saturday, January 5 and 6, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Ages 5-13. $40/ child. Learn basic basketball skills and how to play the game.

Zoombonis Ice Skating Camp Session 1 (January): Friday, January 12 through January 26, 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. $60 total. Session 2 (February): Friday, February 2 through February 23, 8:30 a.m. -1 p.m. $80 total. Ages 8-12. Learn to skate with Gilpin Parks and Rec and Ned Rink!

Youth Basketball League Ages 5-14. Resident $60, Non-Resident $72. Six-week session. Practice starts Monday, January 15. Games start Saturday, January 20.

Outdoor gear rentals NOW AVAILABLE at the Community Center made possible by our partnership with ACA! Outdoor gear can be rented Mondays and Fridays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Prices vary for gear rentals. For more information please visit https://www.alwayschooseadventures.org/gearlibrary.

Friends of the Gilpin County Community Center’s “Heart of the Community” Fund supports residents in need with family punch cards for daily admissions, as well as scholarships for youth who need help to cover youth sports and classes. Pilates Mat Class - Saturday, 9:15 - 10:15 a.m.

Hatha Yoga: Monday and Friday, 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Senior Fit: Monday and Friday, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Taekwondo: Monday and Wednesday, 6 - 7 p.m.

Pickleball: (Monday/Wednesday/ Friday and Saturday: first 30 minutes is for instruction/practice - no games at this time)
