Friends of the Gilpin County Community Center’s “Heart of the Community” Fund supports residents in need with family punch cards for daily admissions, as well as scholarships for youth who need help to cover youth sports and classes. Central City Elks Lodge: Wednesday Night after Softball. Come to the Central City Elks Lodge on Wednesday nights after softball for a $1 light beer from Mile High Brewery and $3 beers after at 113 Main Street, Central City.

2023 30th Annual Gilpin County Fair: July 14-16. Join us for a fun-filled weekend at the 30th Annual Gilpin County Fair! Vendor booth space available for arts and crafts, exhibition of products, games, information, education and food sales. Applications due June 30 at 5 p.m.
