Dear Editor,
Canyon Cares, a local nonprofit serving mountain residents in three counties, writes to support a YES vote on TEENS, Inc’s proposed Early Childhood Learning Center. The center will be a critical asset to mountain families looking for quality and affordable child care while parents do the work that helps our communities remain viable.
Director LeFaiver, staff and board have shown the BOT and surrounding neighborhood that they are collaborative, communicative, and concerned with the project’s long-term success. Children from the Center enroll next at Nederland’s elementary school, and then on to the middle and high schools. A YES vote is a step towards continuity for the town and surrounding communities.
Cast your YES vote for TEENS, Inc’s Early Childhood Learning Center by 7 p.m. on July 30.
