Dear Editor,
Please join me in supporting Sandy Hollingsworth for Gilpin County Commissioner. I have known Sandy for over a dozen years after we met being active in social issues. We share a love for Gilpin County’s rural character and being aware of impacts people have had on our local land, water and wildlife.
Sandy has made a difference in Gilpin County by volunteering for CSU Extension, Volunteers for Outdoors Colorado, and Indian Peaks Forest Watch for the Forest Service doing projects which preserve our native mountain landscape. Sandy has the qualities and experience any of us would look for in a Commissioner. Not only is she active with non-profits and projects in Gilpin County, she has decades of experience working directly with people and community groups.
She has managed municipal government budgets and a positive attitude while working toward solutions. Sandy is the kind of Commissioner I want and I believe that you will too.
Please vote for Sandy this election.
