Dear Editor,
I am writing this letter in support of Marie Mornis for County Commissioner. I have known Marie for all 27 years we have lived in Gilpin.
I have always known Marie to be honest & responsible. She has several of the same values as I do concerning living within your means, balancing a budget, making sure that the operation is kept efficient so that there is little or no waste of resources & just plain old common sense. I believe these values are exactly what Gilpin County needs desperately right now to be able to get our oversized (and rapidly growing) county government under control. Since Marie has been in the commissioner seat, (vacated by Web Sill’s passing) she has fought for these values and has kept the needs of the residents first. Let’s get this government back down to proper size for our population.
Let’s vote for Marie Mornis for County Commissioner District 1.
