Karen DeVincenzo, Eldora Mountain Resort. Trick Ditch Slalom and Retro Weekend kept it lively at Eldora. The third annual Trick Ditch Banked Slalom, hosted by 10 Barrel Brewing Company and Eldora Mountain Resort, presented judges and onlookers with an impressive display of skill, as well as an impressive display of retro gear. Retro Weekend is a long-standing Eldora tradition, and just as the Trick Ditch competitors get better every year, so do the outfits.

Snowboarders as well as live music filled the air. competitors impressed judges and spectators alike with timed runs and individual style on Eldora’s banked slalom course. Folks also enjoyed 10 Barrel’s Snow Beach, complete with lawn games and famous outdoor mini-pub beer garden. Vintage ski gear could be seen interspersed throughout the crowd as this was also Eldora’s Retro Weekend.
