The Town of Nederland will soon embark on a transportation study to find ways to reduce congestion, improve safety, and improve multimodal options.
Existing conditions will be clarified and a plan for improvements will be developed, including a prioritized list of scoped projects along with an implementation strategy. The study will help the town acquire grants for construction projects.
A transportation consultant will lead the study, engaging the community along the way. The project name is the Nederland Multimodal Transportation Plan. It is funded with a $175,000 grant from the Denver Regional Council of Governments’ (DRCOG) Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), $10,000 from the Nederland Downtown Development Authority, and $15,000 from the Town of Nederland.
