The time of year is upon us for gathering, eating, high spirits, and gifting. There are few places better for shopping than high in the Colorado Rockies. The scenery, wildlife, specialty shops, and array of local artists add to the excitement of the season.
On Friday, November 24, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., The Old Gallery (TOG) once again hosted a beautiful event for its community and visitors. Shoppers enjoyed complimentary cookies, donuts, coffee, and a hot chocolate bar.
Unique and original handmade arts and crafts were the centerpieces of the gallery’s event. Locally made jewelry, fiber, weaving, paintings, fused glass, photography, ceramics, wooden pieces, and mountain ambiance were available for purchase and enjoyment.
Part of the beauty of the holiday season is music. Local musician Tim Merkel provided the sprinkle on the already perfect cake, enhancing the mood of all who walked through the gallery’s door.
The Old Gallery is no stranger to creating ways to help you get into the holiday spirit. If you missed the gallery’s Black Friday event, you still have time to support the 20+ regional artists of The Old Gallery.
Show everyone on your list how much you appreciate them. The gallery’s Holiday Shoppe runs every weekend from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., November 4 through December 23. Find something for everyone on your list in the heart of the Rocky Mountains!
The Old Gallery is located at 14863 Colorado Highway 7, Allenspark. You can find them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/TheAPOldGallery, or you can call them at 303-747-2906.
