Tina was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on March 13, 1973. She lived most of her adult life in Victoria, Texas, and passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by many loving family members in Black Hawk, Colorado, on October 31, 2024.
Tina is survived by her loving husband of 21 years Brian Porter, daughter and son-in-law Ashley and Bo Jackson. Her sons Chris, Jonathan, Steven and daughter-in-law Bonita, Austin, Zachary, and Christian. She is also survived by her five beloved grandchildren, brother Robert Schwantes, and sister Nina Martinez.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents Helen and Laverne Berger and sister Sue Liebe.
She was many wonderful things but above all, a Mother and devoted Wife, and very proud of her children. She loved helping others, building others up and spoiling her children and grandchildren. She will always be remembered as a beautiful, kind, selfless and strong woman. Tina was loved deeply and will be heavily missed.
Her family would like to thank everyone for their visits, calls, messages, thoughts and prayers during her fight and immediately after. Knowing how much she was loved by so many people has helped make this difficult time a little more bearable.
A private memorial/celebration of life will be held with close friends and family.
