On Friday, take a trip up to the historic Stage Stop to get down and funky with Tula. Tula is a four-piece progressive funk rock band consisting of guitar, drums, bass and a saxophone. Tula was first formed in Chicago by front man Brian Duggan. Once the band had finished touring through the Midwest, Duggan relocated the band to Denver and formed the permanent cast of musicians that makes up present day Tula. Listeners can expect a refreshing diverse sound added to the traditional jam band setup. They deliver a soul felt set of funk and rock. The ensemble has been known to ignite even the most reserved so get ready to move with the undeniable groove. You can hear and read more about Tula by visiting http://tulafunk.com/.
