Day and night are equal all over the great earth as we enter the spring equinox. We awaken from our winter’s nap and find that spring is here. The ram, Aries, leaps from peak to peak, into our future, landing bravely in the remaining snow. The Sun delights in being in Aries, leaping into the future proclaiming ‘fortune favors the brave.’
The vernal equinox welcomes Jupiter, the fortunate one, and Chiron, the healer, both also in Aries. These two encourage us to develop our unique talents, and ask that we relish our individuality and become more accepting and nurturing of ourselves as we climb the peaks of life.
Aries- Leaping forward into spring is an easy athletic endeavor for the sure-footed sign of Aries. Jupiter, the lucky planet, is with you until May, allowing you to expand the range of your mountain climbing ventures. This is a fortuitous segment of time for you, so do enjoy it.
Taurus- Fortunate Jupiter is now in Aries, letting you know that your talents are unique and worth developing. In May this big encouraging presence moves into your sign for a year, so line up your projects and prepare for them to take off when you reach the merry month of May.
Gemini- A cabal of planets in Aries inspires Gemini. Your ruler who is the messenger Mercury, expansive Jupiter, healing Chiron and dedicated Vesta are all in Aries, allowing you to envision the future that you want. Thus you will have a game plan that you can enact over the year.
Cancer- In 2009, Pluto entered Capricorn, your opposite sign of partnerships, allowing you to gain strength in relating to others. Now you have become expert at boundaries, and also at choosing friends. On March 23, Pluto congratulates you as he finally begins to depart.
Leo- The Sun in Aries is opening the future for you as you create plans for sports and travel and education in the year ahead. For the past two and a half years you have been navigating challenging terrain, and are now ready to leap forward onto smoother ground this spring.
Virgo- Values become extreme-ly important for hardworking Virgo, as the spring appears. Saturn has entered your opposite sign of partnerships. Establishing clear boundaries with others is one of the skills in which you will develop greater acumen, as you apply your sense of discernment.
Libra- There is a change in the air this spring that Libra senses. You have been carrying certain responsibilities for a long time. You have learned so much during this phase. The past is loosening its hold and you feel the start of a new, lighter phase, as the flowers break through the earth..
Scorpio- The shift for Scorpio is tangible. Over the past two and a half years you have felt like you have been swimming upstream. Now you are starting to float in the waters of life, which are holding you. Life is now cooperating with you, and you are attuning to the growth of spring.
Sagittarius- Warm Sagittarius is inspired by enthusiastic Aries, the first astrological sign. Your guide, philosophical Jupiter, joins the Sun in exuberant Aries. This is the time to take an inventory of your talents and appreciate everything about you that makes you unique.
Capricorn- In 2009 Pluto the god of the underworld and transformation entered the sign of Capricorn. At the end of March, he leaves. This is massive. You have become a person of power during his long tenure with you. Now you are in the world able to design your future.
Aquarius- Saturn, the teacher of the stars, visits each sign in turn for two and a half years. This teacher is now handing you the diploma. He shall return to Aquarius in 29 years. Now you journey out into the world ready to manifest and looking forward to two smoother years ahead.
Pisces- Aries brings spring to the land and all of the signs of the stars. This is the month to embrace the enthusiasm of new beginnings. Saturn, the teacher, has now entered Pisces for two and a half years; this could inspire you to study a topic that has always interested you.
