The Peak to Peak Chorale to perform Spring Program

Posted

The Peak to Peak Chorale, active since 1993, is scheduled to perform their Spring Program May 3, 4, and 5.

The Chorale is a group of community members who spend many weeks rehearsing to perform for their mountain neighbors and have a great time in the process! The Chorale co-directors, Patrice LeBlanc and Tertia Cain, have put together an entertaining and musical show for you. This Spring concert/show is entitled “That’s Your Decade!” and will feature songs and parodies from the 1910s through the 2010s.

“It’s a lot of work and a lot of joy for us,” says Lise Friisbaastad, President of the Chorale.

Singing and acting is all done by community members - we look forward to seeing you there!”

Cost to attend is just $10 for adults (cash or check). Ages 18 and under are free, so the whole family can be entertained at a low cost.

The performances are as follows:

• Friday, May 3 at 7 p.m., Golden Gate Grange/Community Center (Highway 46 about 5 miles up from Hwy 93)

• Saturday, May 4 at 3 p.m., Nederland Backdoor Theatre (Highway 72 just uphill from the library at the Nederland Community Center)

• Sunday, May 5 at 3 p.m., Coal Creek Community Center (CCCIA Hall) (Highway 72 across from United Power - a few miles east of the WonderVu Café)

The Chorale invites our Peak to Peak Community and beyond to enjoy the show!
