Dear Editor,
Kudos to whomever organized the signs going in and out of Ned. I think they are upbeat, clear, non-confrontational, and helpful. With so much disinformation going around in our country, and people actively resisting wearing masks... and angry about it too, this bit of Ned culture was a breath of fresh air. I stand with science which says that if we all practice social distancing, avoid indoor air that is poorly ventilated, especially with large groups of people, wash our hands and wear masks, that we can change the course of this virus. Science says that we will not be able to heal the economy until we lick the virus. So... “Ned is open. Have a blast. But don’t forget to wear a mask.” and “Welcome to Ned. My mask protects you. Your mask protects me. Thanks for wearing a mask.” Well done, Ned.
Sincerely,
Bill Thibedeau
