Dear Editor,
Kudos to Denise Boehler. I'd like to acknowledge her contributions to The Mountain-Ear, and to our community.
We all love our four legged companions, both domestic and wild, and Denise has long been a fierce advocate for the rights and well-being of all animals.
In last week's paper she opened my eyes to an Indigenous People's perspective on wolf reintroduction in Colorado which really got me thinking, and then I had to twice stop to dry my eyes while reading about she and Frank's rescuing and loving of Willie Grommit, their terribly abused Dachshund mutt, who found his forever home with them and is The Mountain-Ear's well deserving pet of the year.
Thank you, Denise.
