I am writing to endorse Mary Lorenz as the ideal candidate for Gilpin County Treasurer. I have known Mary for over 20 years, both personally and professionally, in the Treasurer’s office. From experience I know Mary has an amazing work ethic and is dedicated to running the office with integrity following state statutes.
Mary shows consistently that her expertise in the Treasurer’s office plays an important role in its operation. She understands the details of managing the county's financial position, overseeing investments and ensuring property taxes are collected and paid out appropriately, while ensuring the office passes yearly audits with flying colors.
There is no question - Mary knows her job and is the most knowledgeable candidate for the position of Treasurer of Gilpin County.
