COAL CREEK CANYON — When visiting the Peak to Peak region, it’s hard to miss Coal Creek Canyon. Winding through the foothills, the canyon is an important part of the Peak to Peak experience, offering a glimpse into some of the communities and landscapes that give this mountain region part of its character.

The canyon is home to the well-known local coffee shop & bakery Canyon Coffee, which currently ehibits the work of 17 local artisans, most of whom live in or within a few miles of Coal Creek Canyon.

Art on display ranges from paintings and ceramics to wooden creations and jewelry. You’ll also find digital art and tie-dye clothing. Handmade socks and crocheted items are part of the collection. Woolen creatures bring a touch of whimsy. Body care products and candles round out the offerings.

The coffee shop strives to “feature information about the artists around the shop so that folks can more easily connect with the artisans who are also their neighbors.”
