PEAK TO PEAK - David Sockrider is a lifelong fine artist and designer based in Ward, Colorado. He creates imaginative and captivating, surrealistic artworks that capture the essence of live concerts and events.
Recently, he has focused on working in his studio, where he immerses himself in the beauty of nature, animals, and vibrant color palettes.
Sockrider draws inspiration from a range of artistic styles, including psychedelia, visionary, abstraction, realism, art nouveau, impressionism, and expressionism.
Through the flowing use of spirals, color bands, and dot patterns, he crafts scenes that he hopes will evoke wonder and joy in the hearts of viewers.
Sharing his work through original paintings, stickers, paper prints, and magnets, he shows his work throughout the Peak to Peak area, from the Kind Mountain Collective in Idaho Springs to Blue Owl Books and One Brown Mouse in Nederland. He also exhibits at the Crystal Dragon in Boulder and, unsurprisingly, at the Glass Tipi in his home town of Ward.
