Volunteers ready to clean up the grounds at the Gilpin Community Center on May 30, 2026. The annual spring event picks up trash around the center, the ballfield, and the walking path. There were 15 volunteers who picked up 10 bags of trash and two truckloads of random materials left over from the construction. Now it's time to play ball.
Gilpin County Community Center Director Gabrielle Chisholm has a thumbs up for the annual Community Center spring cleanup. Chisholm thanked the Friends of Gilpin County Community Center group (gilpincommunitycenter.org) for their participation.
