Skyley Ramsey has been born and raised a Gilpin Eagle. She first attended Gilpin in preschool and soon she will be graduating. Skyley’s favorite memory from her elementary years was building a sled hill and spending all of the recess sliding down.
Like every other student at Gilpin, new and old, Skyley made many friends during her time in school. She will miss all of the relationships she created with other students and teachers. Skyley’s sister Faith Ramsey has also been a very important person to Skyley in high school and always puts a smile on her face.
Sports were a very large part of Skyley’s time in high school. She has spent four years playing basketball and volleyball, and two in track, soccer, and the student council. Skyley believes everyone going through school should try everything because time flies and it’s better to regret trying than to regret not.
With a successful school career, Skyley plans to continue by going to Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Once she gets a good degree Skyley hopes to become an occupational therapist.
