For the eleventh year in a row, members of the Boulder County Parks and Open Space Butterfly Survey meandered through mountain meadows with nets. They captured butterflies flitting among wildflowers and weeds, identified them and catalogued them for their survey.
Jan Chu said they found more than 50 varieties on their morning excursion on the Reynolds Ranch Open Space off Magnolia Road on Saturday. The group members included Barbara Bartell, John Barr, Jean Morgan, Larry Crowley, Jan Chu and Denise Kelly.
