I was aghast to read Nazi apologetics published in The Mountain-Ear. All Nazis are bad. This includes Werner von Braun who held the rank of Untersturmführer in the Allgemeine-SS, with a Nazi Party membership #185,068. His aerospace work for the US does not absolve his involvement in the genocide of over 17 million innocents, not even including the loss of over 10 million Allied soldiers in battle.
Mr. Arieu may be interested to learn that the US Army Engineer Research and Development Center projects that there will be over 430,000 Americans dead by the end of the Trump presidency. That would make the Trump Administration’s handling of Covid-19 approximately one hundred thousand times more deadly than Benghazi.
