Santa Claus visited the Coal Creek Canyon Improvement Association at the CCCIA hall on Highway 72 on Saturday, December 10. He arrived at the hall in a fire truck.
Santa stepped out of the fire truck into a beautiful sunny day and immediately began greeting kids and parents who came to see him. “It’s a beautiful day,” he said.
After the kids and parents had photos taken with Santa, they went inside the hall, where Santa was seated in a big chair, and children started crowding around.
Suzy Schemel said that at the hall they had homemade cocoa and cookies. Children could write to Santa and he would respond to everyone with her help.
They also had crafts for the kids, and they got busy working on creating masterpieces. Penny Smith dressed as Mrs. Santa Claus.
Others helping with Santa’s visit included Cindy Kolinski and Tami Waltemath.
The next event at the CCCIA Hall will be Santa with pets on December 17. 2022. They will have goats and chickens and other animals. It will start at noon.
