Dear Friends, Family, and Neighbors,
We believe in science, civil rights, and the rule of law. We are devoted to peace, community safety, and community defense. In pursuit of these principles, we have created a group among our mountain neighbors.
Currently, we have two primary goals: First, including as many folks as possible within our ranks because numbers are power, and power protects us all. Second, establishing reliable lines of communication because the truth and knowledge matter when misinformation is rampant. We have positive contacts with local government, law enforcement, and other groups like ours across Colorado. We are not militant, but we believe in preparation and self-defense. We are your neighbors for peace, but if trouble comes, we want reliable information, and the ability to assert our combined strength to protect ourselves and our community.
Due to the storm our next meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday, May 12, 2026, 6:30 p.m., The Very Nice Brewery, 180 Jankowski Drive, Gilpin County 80422.
We invite and encourage all interested to share a beer and plans for peace, community safety, and community defense.
Respectfully,
John Pineau, Attorney
Gilpin County
