Dear Editor,
Nederland Community Presbyterian Church expresses a huge THANK YOU to the private and business donors, sponsorships, and philanthropic organizations for donations to the Rise Against Hunger Nederland project.
We THANK the entire Nederland community for purchases of Christmas wreaths over the past years in support of the Rise Against Hunger food packaging event held the last 10 years in Nederland.
On Tuesday, September 16 the last event was held with attendance from across our mountain region as well as the flatlands. It was 2 1/2 hours of people gathering with music, laughter and hard work. It demonstrated so well the positivity of people caring for others. Thank you to all who have attended this yearly event the past 10 years and thank you all so much for the monies you have donated. We couldn't have made this happen without each one of you.
Please see the half page notice in the paper for the list of individuals and businesses.
