In Gilpin County alone PaintCare has collected over 3,000 gallons of leftover paint to recycle. In 2019 there were 120 participants bringing in paint and in 2020 there were 160 participants.
On July 29, 2021, Paintcare will be holding a free paint drop-off event at the Gilpin County Fairgrounds parking lot located at 230 Norton Drive., Black Hawk. The event takes place from 1 - 5 p.m.. Space is limited.
People interested in dropping off paint should RSVP with their expected arrival time at https://paintblack hawk.eventbrite.com.
