Annette Franck, Nederland. The Randy Sachter Memorial Scholarship has awarded $4000 to graduating seniors.
The FIRST Robotics Team 1584, The Pirates! is proud to announce the recipients of this year’s scholarship awards.
Congratulations to Ainsley Norman, Cody Martin, Hakan Chunton and Oliver Vernon.
Your crewmates wish you only the best as you set sail on your own adventures!
As robotics’ team members graduate, they may be eligible for this scholarship award, which is owned and managed by the team. To qualify, seniors must meet certain requirements; they must be graduating in the current semester, be a current, registered FIRST Team 1584 member and have earned a Varsity Activity Letter or have completed an Independent Study in Science for thier Robotics team participation equalling five credits during their tenture with the team. Preference is given to the students who have been a regular, positive and active team member for the most number of seasons. The RSSA Fund is maintained by team fundraising each year.
