“Some Words for the Week”
The snow falls on the mountain
six inches in the last three hours
meanwhile people I once knew
get engaged get rich
see the world go to bars
fall in and out of love
live young peoples lives

to the woodshed
from the front door
to the drivers side door
then I start my car
so it’ll be warm by the time
I have to leave for work
as the storm flutters down
and the rest of the world goes on
