Always be a good boy, don’t ever run with him”
But I ran away from the South, ‘cuz that’s where good dogs die…
When I hear that door a swingin’, I hang my head and whine
I bet there’s purebreds eatin’ raw food diets everywhere
They’re probably gettin’ groomin’ and playin’ in big backyards
Well I know I’ll got a home soon, ‘til then I can’t be free
Will my people come adopt me? Don’t know, that’s what tortures me…
