Dear Editor,
During this time of uncertainty and financial struggles for so many due to Covid-19, the Peak to Peak Rotary members decided to pitch in for a project to benefit fellow Gilpin County residents.
After talking with the Gilpin County Food Bank, the small group of local Rotarians donated 60 sets of personal care products for people who are unexpectedly using the Food Bank. Each set included 6-7 items with the hope that it would help while one is staying at home to help flatten the curve of the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Peak to Peak Rotary meets weekly, but due to the Covid-19 virus is exploring resuming meetings virtually. Our motto is Service Above Self through community and education projects.
Our wishes to you, your family and friends as you cope with losses and health challenges.
Sandy Hollingsworth, Rotarian
Gilpin County
