Dr. Charles Smith, Peak to Peak. The Peak to Peak Players at the Stables announce a special Valentines event for February 14 and 15, 2020.

Join us for Love Letters by A. R. Gurney.

Andy Ladd III and Melissa Gardner, both born to wealth and position, are childhood friends whose lifelong correspondence begins with birthday party thank you notes and summer camp postcards. Romantically attached, they continue to exchange letters through the boarding school and college years. Andy goes on to excel at Yale and law school, while Melissa flunks out of a series of “good schools”. While Andy and Melissa go on their separate paths throughout adulthood, their series of letters continue to be maintained.

Love Letters premiered in November of 1988. From the beginning, this play has been produced by hundreds of companies across the world. There have been literally the who’s who of the acting world taking on the roles.

Our production will be performed at 7 p.m. at the Stables – 113 Eureka Street in Central City. Tickets are $10 (cash or check) at the door. There also will be a special dessert served at intermission.

Come to Central City and enjoy a lovely meal at JKQ in the Teller House and walk across the street for a Valentine’s treat.
