On Thursday, February 13, the Peak to Peak Climb will begin service. The bus route from Rollinsville to Nederland and onto Ward, will run on Thursdays only, with service provided by Via Mobility Services.
The bus route is a collaborative effort on behalf of Boulder County, Gilpin County, Foothills United Way and CDOT to bring rural transportation to the Peak to Peak Region. The service will be limited to Thursdays although expanded service will be available if the route is successful. The Thursday route will get people to and from the Nederland Food Pantry and bring students home from after-school activities at Nederland High School.
The fare is $2.00, with service for the first month free. A plan for free student passes is underway—so stay tuned!
