Whew, another one just about under our belt. This paper is full of stories. It’s full of sports, government, police and fire, music and letters. It has Keep it Local stories, funded through ARPA funding. It has columns. It has advertising for local deals.
Take a peek to your left here. There are new staff members and returning staff members. This week we welcome back Pam North, a long-time nationally published journalist who lives right here in the Peak to Peak. And we welcome Bruna Villalon with her first stories. We continue to see incredible stories with Chris Kelley, a new journalist and resident of Nederland. We welcome several new interns (check next week for photos and info on high school interns).
The Mountain-Ear continues to strive to cover all the news you love, in the entire Peak to Peak region.
Now a quick plug about our online subscriptions. As many of you know our mail delivery has been a bit spotty in the last few months. If you are a subscriber to The Mountain-Ear, email me and I will get you set up for a FREE online subscription. If you’re not a subscriber, I’ll get you set up for a FREE 100 day trial. The Mountain-Ear is working hard to get you your news reliably. And, we don’t want you to miss a thing!
I always welcome your thoughtful input on what we are covering, what we should be covering and what you want in YOUR newspaper each week. There is a survey online where you can share that information at https:// www.surveymonkey.com/ r/ shapeYOURnewspaper.
I welcome you pointing out typos and errors. Hey, we’re human and we make mistakes. Tell us what you see, so next time we don’t miss it.
The Mountain-Ear is YOUR community newspaper, covering the news you need since 1977.
As always my door is open (in Nederland and Black Hawk), my phone is on (303-810-5409) and my email gets checked regularly at publisher1977@gmail.com. Thanks for reading!
