What a phenomenal weekend we had. My daughter and her husband threw a huge lakeside wedding with a delicious dinner and reception afterwards. We spent the entire weekend celebrating with family. We had breakfasts, explored Cheyenne and truly enjoyed the dog-friendly hotel we stayed at for two nights.
This week I am back home and focused on talking to people about the upcoming election. And sharing my personal opinion about why I would vote in support of specific candidates. I’m re-sharing the candidates below who are not running unopposed.

Want to chat? Find me Friday to Sunday around Nederland or Gilpin County. Thursday or Friday we’ll be at Roy’s having dinner and playing pool with my dad, before he heads back home. Saturday we’ll be at The Very Nice Brewing Company to celebrate their 10 year anniversary. Sunday, I’ll be home, sitting on my patio (when I’m not working on layout). Monday we’ll be in Nederland handing out candy at Brightwood Music.
Text me ahead of time and I’ll have coffee, beer or wine ready to sit and sip. Happy to share my own thoughts (always) on what is important to me in this election. And I love hearing your thoughts on why you will support the candidates you support. This IS OUR mountain community and these candidates will represent us for the next several years.
We welcome thoughtful comments and letters to the editor. Letter submission information is above, on this page.
