Friends, sometimes I feel like a broken record. I feel like I talk for weeks (months) about different topics that are happening in the region. Right now, one of the biggest things happening is the upcoming Nederland election. I’ve heard it said so many times, “this is an election that is so important.” And this time, specifically right now, I think that is truer than ever.
There are five seats open on the Nederland Board of Trustees, and the seat of Mayor. There are seven candidates running for Trustee and two for Mayor. With that many seats open, there will be institutional knowledge that is lost. No matter the outcome.
We have covered the candidates extensively in the last few months. We’ll do the same in the upcoming elections, for local candidates.
I am including the links to profiles again here. Please scan the QR code to read each one. Carefully. Which candidate aligns with your future of Nederland?
