Happy Autumn/Winter everyone. It was a fast summer for sure. I want to tell everyone how much I am enjoying writing this column, talking to the community, helping folks with what they need. Thanks so much for the emails and calls. I am glad I have been able to connect with so many people! Keep your questions coming.
My motto: run around all summer; stay home all winter. I have an inventory this winter that is second to none. We’ve talked about how to downsize, how to research, the crazy stuff people collect. So what do you collect?
Are you looking for that last Royal Dunham (yes that’s for Kim) mug with soldiers? Do you need that last #402 Pyrex Shenandoah pattern bowl? Are you one issue shy of the full Archie comic set from 1976? I am not just here to empty estates. I am happy to help you fill them too!
What do you need to finish that collection? What are your passions? For years I had my items in antique malls; and I LOVE to go to antique malls myself. But living up here it wasn’t easy to run a booth or to go picking. Are you in the mood to pick? Want to visit an “unofficial” thrift store? Let’s make a date!
If you are a collector of anything, let me know. It’s almost the holidays -- do you know someone who collects? I probably have the perfect gift for them. I often find things that are not in my wheelhouse but if you want my eyes opened for you...I am here.
As always, feel free to contact me. I am available all winter for local folks who need my help. Don’t think snow will stop me -- I’ve been to Ward after a huge winter storm!
Come shop at Pam’s Pantiques for the holidays! (by appointment only), and always remember... One Man Gathers What Another Man Spills.
