Covid-19 Vaccine Status Definition
Boulder County Public Health (BDPH), in alignment with CDC, will use the following language to refer to vaccine status:
Fully vaccinated means a person has received their primary series of COVID-19 vaccines. This means either 2 doses of a mRNA vaccine (Pfizer given 21 days apart or Moderna given 28 days apart) or 1 dose of Johnson and Johnson.
Up to date means a person has received all recommended COVID-19 vaccines, including any booster dose(s) when eligible.
To help stop the spread of Covid-19 and to prevent becoming seriously ill with Covid-19 it is recommended that everyone becomes up to date as soon as they are eligible.
