In the past week, the Gilpin High School girls’ basketball team won one game and lost two, playing three games in four days.
On Monday, January 22, 2018, the Eagles traveled to Beth Eden Baptist where they beat the Knights 28-23. Cicely Lepro was high scorer with 14 points and Aspen Nadeau and Katelyn Armstrong each had 10 rebounds. The Gilpin girls now have a 5-8 record.

Lena Warren: 1 point, 3 rebounds, 1 assist
Cicely Lepro: 14 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 6 steals

On Tuesday, January 23, 2018, the Eagles hosted Union Colony Prep and lost 19-43. The Timberwolves moved ahead in the second half to outscore Gilpin in the third and fourth quarter. Katelyn Armstrong was high scorer with six points.
