To David Ruskay and the Suttons on your “nice things” letters: Well said! Like you, most of us who live here see Ned as a relaxed, friendly place with clean air, fascinating wildlife, and a gorgeous mountain backdrop. But those who want to “develop” Ned simply see it as a potential money machine.
For years, we have rejected attempts to turn Ned into just one more boring tourist trap. As you said so well, Ned is a unique mountain town. Yes, there are needed improvements. But let’s keep the magic that we have here.
