Chris Hardt and Dusty Shaw met at the Pioneer Inn. It was New Year’s Day of 2008. They’ve been together ever since. And by together, we mean 24/7, working and building a life and business, together.
The key to success in their relationship is being “best friends.” They enjoy downtime together, going four-wheelin’ on the weekends, taking the dogs hiking and swimming.
Their best date was a snowmobile rodeo trip in Sargents, Colorado. They stayed in cabins and participated in competitions like; carrying ice on a spoon while riding, barrel racing on snowmobiles and more.
Both say the key to the balance between them is based on love, tolerance, communication, enjoying each other’s company and working hard together. Hardt says he finally found someone that can keep up with him, someone who is a tomboy and enjoys the same things he does. Hardt says, “Dusty works hard and keeps everything in order.” He says he wouldn’t change a thing.
Shaw says, “Chris has the biggest heart, he is a smart businessman, he’s funny, he keeps life real.”
As a couple they have made it through their years by working hard together, staying focused, balancing work, laughter, riding snowmobiles and four-wheeling. And most of all staying focused on their goals. They have grown as people in the last fourteen years. They are always hustling to make a great life together, for each other and their pets.
In their downtime they also enjoy time with Chris’ daughter Darian, and her husband Guss Hojnacki. Chris and Dusty are proud grandparents of Barrett, age 1.
