A new business specializing in servicing pools, spas, and hot tubs has opened in the Peak to Peak area. Pancho Flores, who lives in Westminster, has started a new business with that specialty. Pancho’s Pool and Spa Services, LLC, provides these services to homes in the Peak to Peak area, including Coal Creek Canyon and Nederland.
Pancho said he and his wife started the business a month ago after receiving his license and insurance. He offers opening pools for the summer, draining, deep cleaning, filter service, and re-filling pools, spas, and hot tubs. Pancho can balance and maintain water, and routine visits can be scheduled.
Along with that, Pancho is a barber and does about 20 haircuts per week. He graduated from barber school in 2009, but has been cutting hair since high school.
Pancho grew up in Aurora and then moved to Phoenix for a couple of years, where he got started working on pools. When he moved back to Denver, he lived with his in-laws in Westminster until he could afford his own house nearby, where he has lived for almost six years.
To get the word out about his new business, he got on the Facebook page Home Sweet Home Gilpin County, and received a referral. He received more referrals, and since then, he has worked on several homes in the Peak to Peak region, including Nederland.
Pancho said he has lots of spare parts in a storage shed and even in his vehicle in case they are needed. He said he doesn’t mind driving up and down the mountains all day.
