Some of you may recognize Hope Weaver from her work with Timberline Fire District. Hope is taking over the Montessori 4/5 classroom this year.
Kendall Linnehan is returning as the paraeducator to the Montessori 4/5 after being away for a few years. Together with Ms. Hope they will make a great team.
Beth Olkowski, a previous 4th grade teacher at Gilpin School is balancing being a new mom and getting her Montessori training. She is working as a paraeducator in the Montessori PreSchool this year.
The Gilpin Special Education Department is fortunate to have Daiza Caldwell joining as a special needs paraeducator. Daiza comes to Colorado from southern California, and she loves the clean air here.
Katie Farrell is glad to be returning to the role of speech therapist this year in the Special Education department. Katie remarked that Gilpin Schools is a great place to work.
Matt Bailey is joining Gilpin staff as a facilities assistant. Matt is delighted to work in the same place as his 1st grade daughter.
Susan Keim-Tamm is joining Gilpin staff as a food services assistant. She shared that she likes working with kids and also working close to home. She is a fan of Gilpin’s small community and the quality education at Gilpin School.
