The Mountain Heart Gallery is just one of the shops located on Central City’s Main Street. I wrote an article about the store around two months ago and want to share that this shop is open with more classes and extremely helpful teachers. Although it is not the largest store it still holds many treasures and many skills to be learned.
I had the pleasure of attending one of the classes hosted in one of the extra rooms in the shop. Everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful, offering much guidance and expertise on the subject at hand. Though I attended a Junk Journal class I have heard many great reviews on the other classes, as well.
Coming up on August 7 there will be a bead painting class. I think that sounds like quite a fun class to enjoy. It will be around $50 to sign up for the class and all supplies are included.
On August 14 there will be a gnome class. These little gnomes are for sale around the store. See how many you can find next time you visit. The class is $30 with all supplies being given to you the day of class.
A cut and fold book class will be offered on August 21. Though one stipulation is you have to take the beginner folding class first. It will be $50 for this class and the books are absolutely amazing.
On August 28 mitten making will be taught for $45. Then, September 4 a candle making class is being held. Hot plates will be utilized for wax melting and it is $50 for the class.
On September 11 there will be a Christmas Junk Journals class. I took the Junk Jornal class and it was extremely fun and I’m sure the Christmas ones will be just as enjoyable. The class is $40, with all supplies included. All classes are on Saturday mornings at 11 a.m.
All supplies will be included. Items made by the instructors are available throughout the store.
You must call to make a reservation, to ensure seats are for the class. The number is 720-612-8734. That is the newest list of classes available but as the year continues new classes will be available. With all this information make sure to call and check on class availability, as well as dates. They can change based on teacher availability, class size, weather etc. Sign up soon to enjoy one of these fun and informative classes. You will not be disappointed.
