Sara Sandstrom, Nederland. Nederland Elementary Preschool teachers Emily Barth and Debbie Garrison hosted a celebration for their students on May 20, 2021, to celebrate the end of the school year. Most students were in person and a few participated online. Parents and grandparents joined online to watch the festivities.

Each student wore a handmade graduation hat and received a certificate from their teachers for completing a year of preschool. Families smiled, clapped and cheered as the preschoolers looked in the camera, waved and held up their certificates.

Then the preschoolers had a dance party! Watching preschoolers dance makes you smile and want to dance along with them. They have so much fun moving to the music.

Despite the strange year that the pandemic imposed upon the schools, these preschools and their teachers established relationships and routines. Well done preschoolers!
