The Nederland Elementary School (NES) PTA hosted a Fall Fest on Friday, September 29, 2023. It was free and fun for school families and the larger community.

Kids could make their own snow cones at the giant human-powered hamster wheel. Big Wheel Beverages brought the wheel. The kids also could choose from a variety of flavors for their snow cones. It was amusing and yummy!

Tip Top Pies brought sweet and savory New Zealand style hand pies and ice cream for purchase. It was tasty food on a beautiful autumn evening visiting with friends.

While families enjoyed the time together, NES music teacher Kirk Kubicek and NES parent Rebecca Coronna provided incredible music to listen to.

The PTA hosted a fun Fall Fest that fostered community spirit.

Watch for information about other events the NES PTA does for the school and community. The Scholastic Book Fair is coming up in October, and the annual, and very popular, Trunk or Treat will be held on October 27, from 4:30 - 6 p.m.

On October 16 at 6 p.m. the Boulder Valley School District School Board candidates will be in Nederland to introduce themselves and provide their position on issues. This event is currently scheduled to be held at the Nederland Community Library. It will be moved to the Community Center if needed.

Please, RSVP for this event by calling the library at 303-258-1101 or go to their website at https://nederland.colibraries.org/.
