Alan Brewer, Nederland. The weather has been good for our volunteers to make ice and get the park ready for a planned opening on December 10th. We are filling in the details on the schedule this week, it can be found on our website nedrink.org. We will have public skating the first weekend and then, once the kids are out on holiday break - December 17th - Jan 3rd, the park will be open every day with a combination of open recreational skating sessions as well as stick and puck and drop in hockey sessions. Because we are an outdoor rink and are run by volunteers, we are highly dependent on the weather. In the case of heavy snow or warm temperatures, we may have temporary closures. If that happens, we post information on the website and update a recorded message. It is always a good idea to check out the website (nedrink.org) and/or call the hotline (720) 235-8597 prior to coming out to NedRink.

We have learn-to-skate and learn-to-curl programs, a youth recreational hockey league, curling league, broomball, figure skating, and men's and women's adult drop-in hockey sessions. We also rent the ice to individuals for parties. The ice is a full Olympic sheet that we maintain with a Zamboni Ice Conditioner, we have an indoor restroom, two warming huts and skate rentals. The Rink is located at 500 Indian Peaks Drive (County road 128W). Any questions? Please email us: contact@nedrink.org.
See you on the ice!
